Step 1: Sign up for a Metricool Account
To get started, you will need to sign up for a Metricool account. If you are wondering if you need to pay upfront costs or provide payment details, the good news is that you don’t need to.
Step 2: Connect your Threads Account
Once you have set up your Metricool account, the next step is to connect your Threads account. Here’s how:
- Click on the hamburger menu on the top right and select “Brand Settings”.
- Find Threads and click the button to connect your Threads account.
- Follow the prompts to log in to your Threads account and authorise the connection. Adjust any necessary permissions or settings to ensure Metricool can access and manage your Threads posts.
Step 3: Schedule your posts
Now that your Threads account is connected to Metricool, you are ready to start scheduling your posts. Here’s how to do it:
- Navigate to the planning tab.
- Click Create post.
- Make sure to toggle the Threads icon on and write your post.
- Once you are done writing, schedule the date and time you want.
And tada, this is how you can easily schedule Threads for free.
Note that for the free version, you can schedule up to 50 posts per month. So if you are planning to schedule once every day, the free version is super sufficient. However, if you are looking to schedule more than 50, you can consider upgrading to the starter or advanced packages.
