This post is all about my blogging lessons and performances in the 5th month.
Blogging Goals for March
My blogging goals for March were straightforward:
- Continue to increase page views – ACHIEVED
- Commit to my content schedule – ACHIEVED
- Try for Google AdSense again – ACHIEVED
Commitment Schedule VS Actual Work Done
Here’s the schedule I have committed to VS the actual work completed:
COMMITMENT SCHEDULE | ACTUAL WORK |
---|---|
1 New Blog Post per week Update 2 Old Blog Posts per week | 13 Blog Posts – 8 Old, 5 New (+ 8 pageviews VS Feb) |
3 Tweets per day | 90 Tweets (+10 new followers) |
1 Facebook posts per day | 33 FB Posts + 16 FB Reels + 11 FB Stories (+1 new follower) |
1 Tiktok per day | 30 Tiktok Posts (+2 new followers) |
3 IG Posts per week | 15 IG Reels + 20 IG Post + 12 IG Stories (+3 new followers) |
This month, I have introduced a new metric to illustrate the correlation between the content I produce and the new followers gained across platforms. Upon reviewing the data, several areas for improvement have emerged:
- The traction across all social media platforms is growing slowly, indicating ample room for enhancement and opportunities for growth. Strengthening my content strategy is essential.
- The increase in pageviews isn’t substantial, especially considering March is a longer month as compared to February. This might be attributed to the fewer number of new blog posts this month, while the rest were updates to existing ones. However, this isn’t cause for alarm, as my strategy involves gradually updating old blog posts to align with the new template while maintaining consistency in publishing new ones.
- Interestingly, Twitter experienced the highest increase in followers among the social media platforms, despite being the platform where I am least active. Increasing my activity on Twitter could potentially lead to connecting with more like-minded individuals and increased traction.
What’s New in March?
There are 2 exciting pieces of news I would like to share for March:
- I started to build my email list by providing a lead magnet
- My blog got approved on Google Adsense
Building my Email List
I have taken the initiative to start collecting emails, even though I haven’t fully developed a legitimate email strategy yet. As you may know, my income goal for the blog extends beyond Ad Agency revenue; I aim to generate income through various avenues such as affiliates, online courses, and more. My ultimate objective is to assist my readers in achieving their goals more efficiently, enabling them to lead their dream lifestyles.
With this objective in mind, I have created my first-ever lead magnet. Given that much of my blog content revolves around analysis-related topics, I came up with the idea of introducing the analysis process to my readers. This provides them with a clear overview of each step involved in the analysis process. Not only does this offer them valuable new knowledge and opportunities, but it also helps me build my email list.
Once I am ready, I can begin implementing an email strategy to engage with this dedicated group of readers.

Blog Monetization
Additionally, I am thrilled to announce that my blog has been approved for Google Adsense in the first week of March.
Two factors contributed significantly to achieving this milestone.
Firstly, determination and perseverance played a crucial role. Five months can seem like an eternity in the blogging journey, especially when you’re not earning any significant revenue or witnessing progress. Reflecting on this, I’m proud that I treated my blog as a business and persisted despite periods of stagnation. For anyone currently on their blogging journey contemplating giving up, I urge you to push through and let the results speak for themselves. It will undoubtedly be worth it in the end.
Two, taking the leap of faith with the blogging courses. If you have read the blogging performance from the previous month, I invested in the Beginner’s Blogging Bundle Course from bySophiaLee. It turned out to be the best investment I have made for my blog thus far. Not only did it improve my Google rankings, but it also helped me monetize my blog, achieving two major goals simultaneously. If this isn’t the breakthrough you have been seeking, I don’t know what is.
Here are some amazing stats I have achieved since taking the course:😉
- The engagement rate for blog posts increased to 69% this month from 65% last month.
- Pin clicks rose by 14%.
- Outbound clicks surged by 68%
To be honest, I believe I could have monetized my blog much faster had I taken the blogging course earlier. Nevertheless, this remains a significant win I am excited to share.

Blogging Learnings for March
What an amazing month, and I believe that many more are ahead. Here are some important blogging lessons from this month:
- Invest in Education: Simply by taking one blogging course, I’ve achieved two of my milestones. Moving forward, if I come across courses that can help me reach my goals faster, I will definitely invest in them. This significantly shortens the learning curve compared to figuring things out on your own.
- Consistency and Persistence: While you’ve probably heard it many times before, blogging is a long-term game. To earn a significant income, you must be willing to play the long game and allow views and income to accumulate over time. Maintaining a strong mindset and staying committed will take you far in the world of blogging. Don’t give up.
- Diversify Your Income Streams: While we Are aware that the main income streams for blogging often come from ads and affiliates, it’s essential to broaden your perspective and explore additional income opportunities. Consider leveraging your blog to create more income streams, such as offering products, services, and courses. Start building your email list even if you’re not yet ready to launch your email campaigns and prepare for the future.
This article is all about my blogging lessons for March.
I hope you have learned at least one or two important blogging lessons. See you next month ~
