best tools for entrepreneurs

Are you looking to save money on your business tools, or maybe you just want to keep things as simple as possible? As an entrepreneur myself, I know the importance of staying organised and productive without breaking the bank.

That’s why I have put together a list of my favourite business tools that I use to run my online business. Most of which are free to get started with, and if you love them, you can always upgrade later for even more features!

Let’s dive into the 8 best tools every entrepreneur should consider.

1: Google

Google’s suite of tools is one of the easiest (and most powerful) ways to get your business up and running. From setting up your professional email and organising your calendar to managing documents in Google Drive, it is an essential toolkit. I even use it to schedule appointments for discovery calls, which is quick and simple to set up.

2: Notion

Need to keep your tasks organised? Notion’s free version is brilliant for that! I use it to manage my daily and weekly to-do lists, all from a single dashboard. It is where I keep all my important links and even project plans, all in one place. It is definitely one of my go-to productivity tools for entrepreneurs, helping me stay on top of things without a mess of sticky notes everywhere!

3: Kit

email platform

(Formerly known as ConvertKit)

If you are building an email list, Kit is a fantastic choice, especially for early-stage or small businesses. At just $33 per month, it is an excellent value for money! You can send emails, organise your subscribers, and even create landing pages and forms. My favourite feature? You can sell digital products directly through the platform, so no need for extra tools if you are selling online.

4: Metricool

Metricool has been my go-to for keeping an eye on all my platforms, and I am still using the free version. With Metricool, I get a bird’s-eye view of my blog and social media without the fuss of switching between apps. Honestly, it is a huge time-saver and a must-have for entrepreneurs who love data but not the hassle!

5: Capcut

If you need to edit videos, Capcut is a great option to start with. I started with the free version, and as I got more into video editing, I upgraded to the pro version to access advanced features. But if editing isn’t your thing, the free version will be enough to get you started. When you are ready to level up, the pro features will save you loads of time on rendering and editing!

6: Canva

Canva is my all-in-one design tool! I started with the free version but eventually upgraded to the pro plan since I use it daily for everything: blog graphics, social media posts, even designs for my Etsy shop. The pro version is a huge time-saver for any solopreneur, and it is brilliant for creating eye-catching graphics for Instagram and Pinterest.

7: Teachable

If you are thinking of creating courses, Teachable is worth checking out. The free plan lets you upload one course, one digital product, and even a coaching product for up to 10 students. I have used it since I launched my first course, and it has been a fantastic resource for building my digital products.

8: ScreenRec

CREATE ACCOUNT

For recording videos, ScreenRec has been my go-to. I used it to record all my course lessons, and I only paid $4 for one month to get higher-quality videos and more cloud storage during my recording spree. Once I was done, I downgraded to the free plan. Super convenient, and you only pay for what you need!
