Step by Step Instructions
I will be dividing this crochet pumpkin tutorial into 4 sections:
- Leaf
- Stem
- Pumpkin
- Putting It Together
Leaf
Now, we will crochet the pumpkin leaf.

1: MR, 6 SC, SL ST
2: CH, 6V, SL ST
Stem
Next, we will crochet the pumpkin stem.

8 CH
Super quick, right?
Pumpkin
Now, let’s crochet the pumpkin body! We will be making a flat rectangle first.

1: 15 CH
2: go back 2 chains, BLO, 14 HDC
3 to 19: CH, flip, 14 HDC
Once you have your rectangle, we will sew one end of the pumpkin. Close the end by weaving in and pulling the yarn tight.

Then, sew the sides of the rectangle.

Add your stuffing.

Then, close the other end using the same way.

You now got a plump, squishy crochet pumpkin!
Putting It Together
Let’s finish up by assembling everything:
First, sew the leaf and stem together. Double knot at the back for security.

Then, attach the stem to the centre top of the pumpkin:
- Option 1: Sew it on
- Option 2: Use a glue gun for a quicker finish
