Step-by-Step Instructions
Now, let us get into each of the 7 crochet mini fruits. Each one is small, sweet, and comes together quickly. Read through the full instructions for each fruit before you start crocheting.
1: Strawberry
First up is the strawberry! This little fruit is a classic and one of the most fun pieces to make in this mini fruit collection. The pop of red with tiny white seeds gives it so much character.

Strawberry:

2: CH, 3 (SC, V), SL ST
3: CH, 3 (SC, V, SC), SL ST

7: CH, 5A, SL ST

Leaf:
3 CH, go back 2 chains, 4 SL ST
Leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the leaf to the strawberry. Next, use a white yarn and sew on the seeds for a finishing touch.
2: Orange
Next, we have the crochet orange. The green top crocheted first gives it a realistic and adorable look. This is one of those crochet fruit pieces that looks impressive but works up really simply.

Start with green yarn
1: MR, 5 (2 SC, CH), SL ST
Change color to orange.
2: CH, 5 (4 SC), SL ST

8: CH, 4 (SC, A), SL ST
Add stuffing and sew it close.
3: Mangosteen
Now, let us make the crochet mangosteen. This tropical fruit is one of my favorites in this set. It has a lovely round shape and the little leaves on top make it look so complete. If you have never made a mangosteen before, this pattern will definitely be a fun one.

Mangosteen:
1: MR, 6 SC, SL ST
2: CH, 6V, SL ST
3: CH, 6 (SC, V), SL ST
4: CH, 6 (SC, V, SC), SL ST

11: CH, 6 (3 SC, A), SL ST
12: CH, 6 (SC, A, SC), SL ST

Cut yarn and sew it close. There will be a small hole left. Do not worry about it.
Stalk:
1 to 4: MR, 4 SC, SL ST
Leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the stalk into the hole in the mangosteen to close it up. Do not worry about it being messy. The leaves will cover it up.
Leaves (make 4):
1: MR, 6 SC, SL ST
2: CH, 3 (SC, V), SL ST
3: CH, 9 SC, SL ST
