7 Powerful Features I Use to Design with Kittl as a Graphic Designer

List of 7 Features to Design with Kittl.

As a graphic designer, I believe we should embrace AI as a tool in our workflow rather than treat it as a threat. There is a common misconception that AI will replace graphic designers, and I want to address that right here. I believe that we are the creative minds behind every prompt, every direction, and every decision. AI is only as good as the person guiding it.

When I design with Kittl, I bring my design instincts, my client knowledge, and my creative vision to every prompt I type. The platform does not replace what I do. It speeds up how I do it.

In this post, I am sharing the 7 Kittl features I use weekly for both client work and personal projects. If you are a designer or a small business owner looking to work smarter, keep reading.

What is Kittl?

First, a quick introduction for anyone who has not heard of it. Kittl is an AI-powered design platform built for creatives who want professional results without the friction of traditional design software. It combines a powerful template library, AI image and video generation, illustration tools, and smart design features all in one place.

Now, let me walk you through the features I keep coming back to.

1: Font Library

To start, the font library in Kittl is incredibly comprehensive. I also use Canva, so trust me when I say the font pools are very different between the two platforms. Having access to both means I have so many more options to work with.

As a graphic designer, one of my go-to tricks when working on branding projects is to search for fonts that are already close to the vision I have in mind. It saves a significant amount of time compared to building from scratch, and Kittl makes that search process feel natural and intuitive.

Here is a list of fonts that look great for logos:

2: Mockups

Next, the mockup feature is one I rely on heavily for my pattern designs. Kittl offers plug-and-play mockups that bring your designs to life fast, and the time savings are real. Instead of spending time setting up mockup files manually, I drop in my design and it is done.

This feature is especially useful when I need to present a design quickly or create content to showcase my work. Here is a quick tutorial showing just how easy the process is:

3: Image Generator

Additionally, while Kittl has a solid mockup library, there are times when I am working on a branding project and the library simply does not have what I envisioned. That is when I turn to the AI image generator, specifically the nanobanana model, to create custom brand mockups that match my exact vision.

Here is a branding example for a bagel bar where I generated all the mockups entirely in Kittl:

On the other hand, I also use the image generator to create product mockups for design briefs. Free mockups are great, but when every designer is using the same ones, your work starts to blend in. Generating a custom product image makes the design feel more intentional and original.

Here is an example of a product image I created for a candy-inspired perfume brand:

4: Video Generator

Now, we all know that video is becoming one of the most essential tools in marketing. Kittl has an AI video generator that you can use to create scroll-stopping videos to promote your products or your clients’ brands.

Here is a quick look at what Kittl can do to turn a product image into a scroll-stopping ad:

Personally, I have also used the video generator to create brand mockup videos. Here is a step-by-step look at how I created one from start to finish:

5: Templates

After that, if you want a starting point that is already done for you, Kittl has a ready-made template library that covers more than just static designs. There are templates for videos and full Kittl flows as well. All you need to do is swap out the image on one artboard and regenerate the design around it.

Here is an example of how you can use an existing Kittl template to create a UGC-style video for a brand:

6: Smartboard

This is one of my favourite features in Kittl because it lets me experiment with different prompts based on a single image. The results are genuinely impressive, and it opens up so many creative possibilities within one session.

One project I used Smartboard for was turning a black and white mascot into a coloured version in my brand colors. From there, I created multiple variations of the same mascot in completely different scenes. If you are working on a brand identity that includes a mascot, this feature is a serious time-saver.

7: Illustration Tools

Finally, saving the best for last. One of the things I appreciate most about designing with Kittl is that I no longer have to jump between different software just to access vector tools. Everything I need is already inside the platform.

Here are the illustration tools I use regularly and absolutely love:

  1. Pen Tool — You can draw directly in Kittl using the pen tool. For a designer, having this built right in is a huge plus.
  2. Vectorize Image — You can convert any image into a vector file, which means high quality output that scales without losing resolution.
  3. Remove Background — Honestly, this one feels like magic. It works fast and it works well.
  4. Upscale — When you need a higher resolution version of your image, this tool handles it without you needing to export and re-import into another app.
  5. Typography Features — You can manipulate text colors, styles, transformations, shadows, and decorations all within the app. Typography work is fully supported inside Kittl, which makes it a genuinely complete design tool.
