Step-by-Step Instructions
Now, let us break this easy crochet fries pattern into 3 steps: the packaging, the fries, and the assembly.
Step 1: Packaging
To start, let us make the holder that holds the french fries together.

1: 7 CH, go back 2 chains, 5 SC, (4 SC), 4 SC, (3 SC), SL ST
2: CH, 6 SC, 2 V, 6 SC, 2 V (do back loop only for all)
3 to 8: CH, 20 SC, SL ST
Step 2: Fries
Next, let us make the individual fries.

1: 13 CH, go back 2 chains, 12 SC
2: CH, flip, 12 SC (back loop only)
3: CH, flip, 12 SC (front loop only)
Leave long tail for sewing.

After that, coil the fries up and sew the ends together. Go through only the back loop of the third row when joining.
Hide all the remaining yarn left.

Repeat this to make a total of 5 fries, or as many as you like.
Step 3: Assemble
Finally, simply tuck the fries into the packaging to get that classic fast food look.

And there you have it!
