    Step-by-Step Instructions

Now, let us get into each of the 7 crochet mini fruits. Each one is small, sweet, and comes together quickly. Read through the full instructions for each fruit before you start crocheting.

    1: Strawberry

First up is the strawberry! This little fruit is a classic and one of the most fun pieces to make in this mini fruit collection. The pop of red with tiny white seeds gives it so much character.

5: CH, 15 SC, SL ST

    6: CH, 5 (SC, A), SL ST

    7: CH, 5A, SL ST

    Cut and hide yarn.

    Leaf:

3 CH, go back 2 chains, 4 SL ST

Leave a long tail for sewing.

Sew the leaf to the strawberry. Next, use a white yarn and sew on the seeds for a finishing touch.

    2: Orange

Next, we have the crochet orange. The green top crocheted first gives it a realistic and adorable look. This is one of those crochet fruit pieces that looks impressive but works up really simply.

    8: CH, 4 (SC, A), SL ST

Add stuffing and sew it close.

    3: Mangosteen

Now, let us make the crochet mangosteen. This tropical fruit is one of my favorites in this set. It has a lovely round shape and the little leaves on top make it look so complete. If you have never made a mangosteen before, this pattern will definitely be a fun one.

Cut yarn and sew it close. There will be a small hole left. Do not worry about it.

    Stalk:

1 to 4: MR, 4 SC, SL ST

Leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the stalk into the hole in the mangosteen to close it up. Do not worry about it being messy. The leaves will cover it up.

    Leaves (make 4):

    2: CH, 3 (SC, V), SL ST

3: CH, 9 SC, SL ST

Cut yarn and hide it. After that, glue the leaves to the stalk.

    4: Apple

Additionally, we have the crochet apple. This one comes with a cute little leaf and stalk that you crochet together in one go before sewing it on. It gives the apple such a sweet, finished look.

Sew the leaf and stalk onto the top of the apple to finish.

    5: Corn

Now, on to the crochet corn! This one is a little different from the rest because it has a longer, cylinder shape. The two little leaves at the bottom make it look just like a real ear of corn. It is one of the most unique pieces in this fruit set.

    6: Pear

Next up is the crochet pear. The pear has a beautiful, natural silhouette that comes from the way the rounds gradually widen and then narrow back in. It is one of the most satisfying shapes to crochet in this crochet mini fruits for beginners set.

    7: Banana

Finally, we have the crochet banana to wrap up this mini crochet fruit collection. The banana is the most uniquely shaped piece of the seven. You work it flat first and then add the ends to give it that classic banana look. It is such a fun one to finish with!
